Sustainable finance. Two words that – when suddenly combined – pack a powerful punch!
Instead of simply asking how much return you can get on your investment, why not ask how much sustainable transformation you can create? The TransCap Initiative is a trailblazing global community of challengers, investors, and innovators at the new frontier of sustainable finance – all interested in figuring out how to deploy financial capital in service of a more prosperous and sustainable future for all.
1. Challenge
The TransCap Initiative wanted to propel their mission into global orbit. They needed a fitting visual identity and website to push the initiative forward.
2. Idea
Let's be honest; the TransCap Initiative is complex. It's building a community to rethink value in the 21st century, reimagining the purpose of capital markets, and testing new paradigms, structures, and investment practices – not simple at all, so why try and package it as such?
3. Solution
Instead of simplifying what is complex, the visual identity adopts the initiative's complexity and network of professionals. The website conveys extensive articles, data and research, but the layout is straightforward and user-friendly, giving an approachable and professional user experience.
The logo strikes a balance between clearly displaying the name as a professional actor while manifesting the initiative's immense complexities, dynamics and originality. It is a logo that pays homage to the dynamics of economics. Lines and dots are visualisations of value chains, graphs and data points and the visual language mimics the connectivity between places, transformative changeability and networks of people.
What lies ahead for The TransCap Initiative is a journey of exploration in figuring out how to deploy financial capital to solve some of our time's most pressing and tangible problems.
We can't wait to see what happens next!
