After winning an international competition, doing extensive historic research, conducting 6 workshops with students, experts, board members, and people in between, developing a new typeface, royal seal, visual identity, brand guide, and final approval from the royal house - we are proud to finally share our work.
Working with a cultural institution covering Architecture, Design, and Conservation with over 250 years of history requires a delicate process and there's no room for failure. We feel a special obligation to help this legacy institution to excel in the future as we have done in the past. Continuing to push and challenge the creative standards of tomorrow, is not only important to The Royal Danish Academy, but it's also part of our national identity.
