How can an architecture company rightfully pursue a recognizable brand identity while still maintaining the capacity for unpredictable and creative freedom and contextual understanding? Well, it’s not always what you do, it’s the way that you do it!
As architect companies go, Dorte Mandrup is quite hard to categorize. On the one hand, hard-hitting and no-nonsense and on the other, sensual and experimental. That is why Dorte Mandrup calls itself “seriously playful”! However, a lasting ambition for the company is to make architecture understandable, thereby banishing notoriously dry archi-lingo!
Urgent.Agency has a longstanding relationship with Dorte Mandrup that incorporates nearly all aspects of graphic design and strategic communication. From the initial branding process through design of visual identity to implementation of a characteristic tone-of-voice!
The condensed version of the logo is simply a D – now lighting up the Dorte Mandrup office!
